The 2025 Maruti Baleno has achieved an impressive 4-star safety rating for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and a 3-star rating for Child Occupant Protection (COP) in the latest Bharat NCAP crash test, marking a significant improvement in the safety standards of Indian hatchbacks.

As per the results released by Bharat NCAP, the Baleno demonstrated strong structural integrity during frontal and side-impact testing. The 4-star AOP rating reflects solid protection for adult passengers in case of a crash, with the body shell rated as stable. The 3-star child protection score suggests reasonable safety but indicates the need for improved child restraint systems and rear-seat safety enhancements.
